Charitable Giving Guidelines

AutoZone's charitable program is designed to support non-profit organizations through charitable donations and in-kind gifts as well as encourage others to get involved in philanthropic activities.

Please read the below guidelines, prior to submitting your request, to better assist you with your community relations inquiry. AutoZone does not make charitable contributions to the following causes:

• Individuals
• Political causes
• High school advertising, such as calendars or posters
• Yearbook advertising
• General advertising
• Athletic organizations and teams
• Family reunions
• Beauty contests
• Churches or religious organizations

In order to be considered for funding, your organization must be recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt, 501 (c) 3 organization.

Your request must be one page, or less, and include the following:

• Contact information
• Mission of your organization
• History of your organization
• Achievements and goals within the past year
• Brief description of your project
• Amount being requested

Due to the large volume of requests we receive, requests are not accepted via telephone, fax or e-mail. Additionally, we will not respond or confirm any donation over the telephone or e-mail. If your request is selected for funding or support, you will be notified in writing. All contributions are one-time only unless otherwise stated. Thank you for your interest in AutoZone!
